It’s definitely possible to vibe via text. The Book of Five Rings comes to mind for me. I read it when I was 15 and don’t think I understood any of it. But the vibe affected me profoundly. A life changing read, for me.
This deeply connects to problems I have had with existing "above my neck" that I have had for most of my life. I think this is framework that I will get a lot of value in my life. I would love a sequel where you just do more case studies of open and closed attitudes. Maybe examples from novels or films of characters being open or closed in productive or destructive ways. I got a strong sense of the dials but that would help to shore it up. Regardless, thanks for the great insight!
That does! A different example that comes to my mind are arguments versus discussions. Arguments are between two people that are closed to each other while a discussion is when they are open. The former is typically fruitless and emotionally draining while the latter is a mutual search for the truth. I can't think of a specific example, but it's so common in films to see two people switch from the former to the latter and to feel the sudden shift from closed to open. I can see that many times in my life.
Nerds vibe how porn actors fuck, will stick with me haha

Yes! That's an excellent example: being open to listening/hearing/changing/connecting, or not.
